This is a crochet pattern in English and US term. The design was inspired by the lyrical ballet dresses; a close-fitting bralette top with over-knee skirt. I choose a thicker stitch for the bottom part of the skirt so it swing nicely with the movement. This dress is perfect for a stay-home wear, and also for dress up in autumn with a leather jacket and boots to spice the softness up.
In the pattern, you can find the instructions for size XS, S, M, L and XL. You can also find tips to make it according to your specific fit. This pattern includes straightforward written instructions along with the pictures, stitch count for every sizes at the end of each rows (rounds) and extended note to better understand the instructions.
The pattern calls for feather stitch at the bottom part of the skirt. You will be able to find the clear written instruction at the beginning how to do it and pictures in the required part. You can also search for "*Crochet Feather Stitch*" on youtube for video tutorial of this specific stitch if further information is needed.
I used 100% cotton yarn for this project and I suggest to use the yarn with a soft touch as the top of the dress has a pretty close fit to your body.
